In most cases, it's not necessary to inform Algolia of a domain name change. There are a couple of exceptions to this:
- You have Single Sign-On (SSO) configured for your users, and the email address domain (or domains) used for SSO login is changing. If this is the case, please contact the Support team so that we can update the domains in your SSO configuration.
- You use the Algolia Crawler and the domain of the crawled pages is changing. In this case you can update the settings in your Crawler configuration to reflect the new domain.
