An object ID in Algolia is the individual variant ID provided by Shopify.
A product ID is a group identifier for products that have variants (e.g. sizes or colors). For example, if product A and product B are the same shirt in different sizes, in Algolia they would have the same product ID but different object IDs. The object ID is a unique identifier -- it cannot be duplicated.
