You can configure the Hierarchical Menu directly on our Shopify App.
When selecting a facet that has the required data structure for the Hierarchical Menu, you will find the "hierarchical" option on the facet type configuration:
Shopify App > Search options > InstantSearch > Facets
If you don't find the attribute on your list, you can add it using our form for custom attributes, which is below the "Inactive" list:
