When troubleshooting issues with a Shopify theme that isn’t live, it’s often necessary to share a preview link so the theme can be viewed in action.
How to get a preview link
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes
- Locate the theme you want to share
- Click the Actions dropdown
- Right-click on the Preview button
- Select Copy link address (or “Copy link location,” depending on your browser)
You can then share this link to provide access to the theme preview.
If your store is password-protected, include the store password when sharing the preview link so it can be accessed properly.
