Webhook warnings indicate that Algolia is unable to properly receive updates from Shopify.
Why this happens
The Algolia Shopify app relies on Shopify webhooks to keep your index up to date in real time. These webhooks notify Algolia whenever changes are made to your products, collections, or other content.
A warning appears when Algolia fails to register or receive a webhook, which can happen due to issues such as:
- Temporary network errors
- Connectivity issues between Shopify and Algolia
- Interrupted webhook setup
How to resolve it
To restore normal operation:
- Click the action button shown in the warning to re-register the webhooks
- Optionally, perform a full reindex from the Settings tab to ensure your data is fully up to date
Once webhooks are restored, real-time updates should resume as expected.
