When looking at your application's usage in the Dashboard, you may notice that the summary of your Records usage on the Billing Overview page appears different to the current number of Records stored in your application, as shown on the API Monitoring > Usage page.
The number of records on the Billing overview page represents a high watermark for the most Records which were stored in your application during the current monthly billing period.
We measure this by taking daily snapshots of your Records during each monthly service period, and measure the 4 days where the number of Records stored was the highest.
In order to offer flexibility, and to prevent you from being charged for temporary increases in your Records, we then disregard the highest 3 figures. The final figure which will appear in your Billing Overview and which appears in your weekly usage reports is based on the 4th highest number of Records during the current monthly period.
If the calculated number of Records for any monthly period exceeds your included quota, this is the number of Records we'll use to calculate any additional charges for your next invoice.
