Algolia does not yet have a formal carbon reduction policy or net zero target. Over the past few years, our primary focus has been on establishing a reliable baseline and gaining a clear understanding of where we can make the most meaningful impact. We are conscious of our physical office footprint and review our emissions each year to ensure they are in line with the pace and size of our business.
By partnering with EcoVadis and Persefoni, we have strengthened our ability to measure, analyze, and report on our carbon footprint and overall environmental performance. These partnerships are helping us identify which targets are both feasible and impactful for our organization.
As our ESG program continues to mature, we anticipate setting formal carbon reduction goals and targets informed by data and aligned with industry best practices. It’s important to note that while we have not yet formalized these targets, Algolia remains committed to continuous improvement and sets annual environmental objectives to guide our progress and accountability.
