What's the issue?
In August 2025, we introduced a security update to the login page of our Dashboard, which checks your OAuth (Open Authorisation) linked account email address against your Algolia account email address.
If you use a Google, Netlify, or Github account to log in to the Algolia Dashboard, and you have recently changed your OAuth account email address without updating your Algolia account email address, you will receive the following error message the next time you attempt to log in:
"Your Google/Netlify/Github account email doesn't match your current account email.
Please update your Google/Netlify/Github account email or contact support."
How do I fix this?
There are currently 2 ways to resolve this issue:
-
If you have previously set a password in the Algolia Dashboard, you can log in using this password and update your email address from the Account Details page.
(If you can't remember your password, you can always reset it here!)
- If you have not previously set a password in the Dashboard, please contact the Support team for assistance. We can help you update your account email address.
