Yes. Although it is possible to create a rules with the extension's Visual Merchandising tools , promote, upsell, and customize results with these tools, it is recommended to use the Merchandising Studio instead, whenever possible to create more complex rules.

Please ensure that the rules you create via the Algolia Merchandise Studio don't conflict with any existing rules you may have created in Magento Admin. Also be aware that you shouldn't edit any rules in the Dashboard that may be overwritten by changes you make in Magento.
