You may receive a Max QPS email warning when you are sending too many queries in a short time span.
Your Algolia plan may share computing resources with other clients. To offer a shared system that works for all clients on the same cluster, we set a limit on the number of queries each account can perform - a Max QPS. Going over this Max QPS places an extra burden on the server, negatively impacting the performance of jointly hosted applications.
If you regularly exceed the Max QPS, your solution might be performing unnecessary queries. You can take a look at which queries count toward the Max QPS to help you analyze your query usage. Also, make sure you do all testing and debugging during off-hours.
If your solution is optimized and you are still going over the Max QPS limit, consider upgrading to another plan. Please contact the Support team for any further help.
