[Recommend] Why are my products still pinned when they go out of stock, even though I have a filter to prevent out of stock items being suggested?

It's not possible to use a filter to hide pinned items within Recommend Rules as you would in a general rule. This is because the filterPromotes parameter https://www.algolia.com/doc/api-reference/api-parameters/filterPromotes/#how-to-use , which controls whether promoted results match the filters of the current search, is not available for use within Recommend Rules.
