When retrieving recommendations, if your fallbackParameters do not appear to be working as expected, ensure that the maxRecommendations parameter has been declared.
For fallbackParameters to be applied on your recommendations, the maxRecommendations parameter must also be included in the query.
Please note that for Recommend requests sent via InstantSearch, the maxRecommendationsparameter has been replaced by limit but retains the same functionality.
