Pausing the Crawler can result in a couple of different states depending on the status of the Crawler when it was paused.
If a crawl was already in progress, pausing simply halts the crawl, running the crawler again resumes the previous crawl. If no crawl was in progress, no scheduled crawls will be run until the Crawler is unpaused. Running the crawler again makes the crawler wait for its next scheduled run.
