Algolia stores the same data on all three servers in a cluster to help maintain resiliency. If you use the Distributed Search Network (DSN), your data and configuration are also synchronised to DSN servers, but DSN servers aren’t backups.
Algolia retains temporary backups for operational purposes, but these shouldn’t be relied upon as your backup strategy. To protect against accidental data loss, you should maintain your own backup of your indices and configuration.
