If you’re not using Shopify Markets, you can add support for multiple languages by following these steps:
- Add all the required translated data within metafields associated with the product
- Configure the integration to index those metafields
- Depending on the language selected by the user, optionally choose to display this data by modifying the relevant product template (InstantSearch and Autocomplete)
Some Shopify apps that help with translations store their translated data within metafields, which can be indexed by the Shopify integration. Refer to the specific app’s documentation for more information.
