Why do removed categories keep appearing in the search results?

Algolia Magento Extension supports category indexing, which makes Magento Categories searchable through the Algolia Searchbox on your Magento website.

This feature checks the addition of categories in your Magento store and continuously makes them searchable in Algolia.

On the other hand, the deletion of categories is not automatically reflected in the Algolia index due to a current limitation. When you remove a category from Magento, you need to manually remove it from the Algolia index through the Algolia Dashboard or API.
