Generally this issue relates to a CloudFlare CDN configuration.
CloudFlare has a feature called “Email Address Obfuscation“, which replaces email addresses when they think the client is bot:

If this feature is enabled when @ symbols are detected the string will be masked, turning off this feature in CloudFlare will generally resolve the issue.
