Empty Search in Analytics happens if you are using Algolia’s search-as-you-type/InstantSearch. By default, Algolia shows search results as soon as they land on a page, and it happens by performing a search with an empty query. Empty query searches show up in your dashboard as <empty search>.
You can exclude the empty search from your analytics if you want to, but please be aware that it can affect any analytical value for your app.
